Placebo X 

A modernized retro performance midlength: (X is for Channel Bottom: 6 Channels) 

Channels: These channels are uniquely designed and handshaped to draw the water into the tail. With a rolled tuck, right where the mid section blends into a hard performance rail, these channels provide forward projection, with the water being funneled from the mid-section, under the boards surface area, and out the kicked rounded pintail. This provides lots of drive, traction/control, and smoother lines.

Outline: The Placebo X was designed for every type of wave and surfing style. Easy to paddle, smooth carving, down the line speed, and stylish thrashing. Whether you’re at a perfect pointbreak, or hollow beachbreak, you’ll have a lot of fun on this modernized funboard.

Rocker: Although it is a performance midlength, it has a flatter, more traditional rocker. Lower nose entry than a performance shortboard, with a decent amount of tail kick out the back for easy turning and stable pivoting.

Rails: Hard performance rails in the back 1/2 of the board, which gradually softens/rounds out as you approach the nose, for a more classic and traditional feel and ride. Also helps with not catching your rails in critical situations.
